Community guidelines

This is a space for real, honest conversation. To keep it safe and welcoming for everyone, all members agree to these guidelines when they join.

01

Be kind and respectful

Treat every person here with dignity. Supportive disagreement is welcome — attacking, shaming, mocking, diagnosing, or ganging up on another member is not. This community exists because life is hard enough without being judged for it.

02

Keep it honest

Share your real experience. You do not need to perform wellness or pretend things are fine. Authenticity is what makes this space valuable.

03

Strong language is allowed. Abuse is not.

Real feelings are welcome here, and members may use profanity to express genuine anger, pain, fear, grief, frustration, or exhaustion. Profanity must not be automatically blocked or reported simply because a particular word was used. Language becomes abusive when it is used to threaten, harass, humiliate, intimidate, sexually target, discriminate against, personally attack, provoke, or deliberately disrupt the Community.

04

No politics or divisive public debates

This Community is for sharing personal feelings, experiences, struggles, and supportive advice. It is not a place to campaign for or against politicians, political parties, public officials, laws, police, government policies, elections, political movements, religious doctrines, or divisive moral and culture-war issues. Members may discuss how something has personally affected their emotional well-being, but they may not turn the Community into a political argument, ideological debate, or attack on people who believe differently.

05

No hate speech, discrimination, or targeted harassment

Content that demeans, threatens, or targets people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic is prohibited. Bullying, personal attacks, and sexual harassment are not tolerated.

06

No sexual content or solicitation

Pornography, explicit sexual content, and sexual solicitation of any kind are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension.

07

Protect everyone's privacy

Do not publish another person's private or identifying information — their real name, address, phone number, workplace, or any other personal detail — without their explicit consent. What is shared here stays here.

08

No spam, scams, or advertising

Do not use this space to promote products, services, or external links. No scam content, phishing links, affiliate links, fundraising requests, commercial recruiting, or unsolicited advertising of any kind. No deliberate flooding or hijacking of conversations. Violations result in immediate account suspension.

09

Self-harm and crisis content

Members may discuss their own thoughts or experiences involving self-harm. No one may encourage, glorify, instruct, or pressure anyone to harm themselves or another person. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a professional or a crisis line — this community is peer support and is not a substitute for medical care, therapy, legal advice, financial advice, or emergency assistance.

10

No impersonation

Do not impersonate the Community Administrator, other members, or any real person. Your display name should represent you, not someone else.

11

Verified Professional designation

A Verified Professional badge may appear next to some members' names. This designation is granted only to accounts that have been explicitly approved by the Community Administrator. All other members share peer perspectives, not professional advice.

12

Enforcement and commercial activity

Participation in this Community is free and must remain noncommercial. The Community Administrator provides their time and support without charge, and everyone who participates is expected to contribute in that same spirit. This is not an advertising, sales, political, promotional, or customer-recruitment platform. Members may not advertise, promote, recommend, sell, or solicit paid products or services; request donations or payment; post affiliate or referral links; recruit clients or customers; repeatedly direct members to outside websites or social accounts; or contact members privately for commercial purposes. This applies to businesses, authors, coaches, counselors, therapists, consultants, influencers, organizations, causes, and service providers. Professionals are welcome to offer general support and helpful perspectives without charge, but they may not use the Community to promote themselves, obtain clients, sell services, or move members into paid relationships. A professional designation may appear only after the Community Administrator has privately verified and approved it. By creating an account, every member agrees to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content being removed and the account being immediately and permanently banned. Serious violations — including hate speech, threats, harassment, sexual content or solicitation, scams, political campaigning, deliberate disruption, advertising, selling, client recruitment, or repeated promotional posting — will result in immediate removal and banning without a warning. The Community Administrator retains final authority over all moderation and membership decisions. Participation is a privilege, not a right, and no refund is involved because Community membership is entirely free.

Rules and enforcement

Participation in this Community is a privilege. These guidelines will be strictly enforced to protect the people who come here for genuine support.

Bullying, harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats, sexual content or solicitation, political campaigning or arguments, scams, advertising, selling, client recruitment, spam, sharing another person's private information, deliberate disruption, or pressuring members to accept your personal beliefs may result in immediate and permanent removal from the Community.

The Community Administrator is not required to issue a warning before removing content or banning an account. When a violation is serious, deliberate, promotional, threatening, abusive, or disruptive, the content may be removed and the account permanently banned immediately.

If the meaning or intention of a post is unclear, the Community Administrator may ask the member for clarification before making a decision. The Community Administrator retains final authority over all moderation and membership decisions. Permanent bans are final and are not subject to public argument, retaliation, or debate.

Zero-tolerance content

The following content will be hidden immediately, the account permanently banned, and the community owner notified for urgent review: pornography or sexual solicitation, hate speech or slurs, direct threats of violence, targeted harassment or bullying, scams or phishing, doxxing of private information, political campaigning or debate, deliberate flooding or hijacking of the community, advertising or selling products or services, affiliate or referral links, client recruitment, fundraising requests, and repeated promotional posting.

Reporting and moderation

Every post and reply has a Report button. Use it if you see something that violates these guidelines. Reports go directly to the community owner and are reviewed personally. Content that clearly violates these guidelines is hidden immediately and the account permanently banned pending owner review. Borderline content enters a private review queue — no immediate action is taken until the owner decides. The Community Administrator retains the final decision to warn, restore, suspend, or permanently ban any member. A private record of the content, reason, account, date, and action is kept for every moderation decision.

Your email address and privacy

Your email address is never displayed publicly. It is used only for account verification, security, password recovery, notifications you specifically request, and necessary moderation communication. It is never used for email marketing.

This space is yours too

These guidelines exist to protect the community, not to police it. If you are unsure whether something is appropriate, ask yourself: would I want someone to say this to me when I was struggling? If the answer is no, it probably does not belong here. And if you are wondering whether something counts as promotion — if you would benefit commercially from posting it, it does not belong here.
